What to expect
Embark on an authentic culinary journey with a private dinner at a Basque gastronomic society. Led by a knowledgeable guide, guests delve into the heart of
Basque culture, enjoying a traditional menu crafted by a member of the society. While not a formal cooking class, guests have the opportunity to engage with the chef, learning about Basque culinary traditions and techniques.
The menu boasts a delightful array of seasonal delights, from assorted starters to fresh fish and grilled Txuleta, all complemented by Basque desserts and a selection of beverages including wine, cider, and beer. However, this experience goes beyond mere dining; guests actively participate in the gastronomic society's customs, assisting in setting tables, cooking, serving, and cleaning up alongside fellow diners.

- Main course based on seasonal fresh fish (hake, cod...)
- A grilled Txuleta (grilled cutlet) (OPTIONAL)

Tips to enjoy this unique experience
Be part of the Basque Culture: Following this tips, you will live a true experience:
- A Gastronomic Society is not a restaurant and does not have waiters, so all members of the group help set the table, cook, open and serve wines, and bring the used plates and cutlery.
- Some dishes on the menu will be chosen by the chef at the last moment in the market. Don't hesitate to try anything in the gastronomic society.
- The member of the gastronomic society who is our host is not an employee of the gastronomic society. He/She will do everything possible to ensure you are fully immersed in this experience.
- There is no dress code. You can come casually.
- Wines and other drinks are available for pickup; however, please check with the member before taking anything.
